Friendly Technologies’ LwM2M Server Scores the Highest at OMA’s Fall 2017 TestFest in Warsaw

December 7, 2017 – Ramat Gan, Israel – During the OMA’s TestFest event, Friendly’s LwM2M management server got the highest test score with the lowest number of fails out of thirteen other IoT companies that took part in the LwM2M server interoperability test. Only one other company received a score as high as Friendly’s LwM2M server, but their server test resulted in a higher number of failures.

TestFests are events organized by the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) designed to achieve a number of goals, including ensuring the quality of OMA specifications, enabling vendors to verify and test the interoperability of their product implementations in a multi-vendor environment, as well as provide a peer-to-peer networking environment for participants. One of the important aspects of any interoperability testing session is to record and process the problems found in the implementations being tested.

“Friendly’s LwM2M server was developed based on our vast experience in IoT and Device Management, so it comes as no surprise that it received the highest of scores, compared to LwM2M servers of other esteemed IoT companies that took part in the TestFest. Friendly Technologies continues to keep up with the reputation of high-quality carrier-grade server technologies provider “, said Ohad Oman, Friendly’s VP of Products.
