OJSC Vimpelcom (the Beeline Brand), Selects Friendly Technologies’ TR-069 Device & Home Management Solution
Russian telecom giant will deploy Friendly's TR-069 solution for managing its Triple Play broadband services.
Ramat-Gan, Israel (February 24, 2014) - Friendly Technologies, a leading provider of unified device management and customer experience solutions for fixed and mobile operators, announced today that it has been chosen by OJSC VimpelCom, one of Russia's largest telecom operators, to deploy a centralized system that will handle device management across multiple regions and support millions of broadband subscribers. The partnership between the two companies, an important strategic move for Friendly Technologies in the Russian market, involves a multi-year project and long-term agreement.
Friendly's Device & Home Management platform covers the entire service life cycle, from remote provisioning of services to inventory management, group fri updates, monitoring, event triggering and support automation. By adopting Friendly's TR-069 based system, OJSC VimpelCom will be able to streamline and simplify the deployment, support, management and monitoring of Data, Voice and Video services, facilitating maximized support center productivity, increased loyalty and reduced churn.
Friendly's local system integrator in Russia, I-Teco - a leading supplier of information technologies for Russian corporate customers - will be handling all aspects of Friendly's deployment and providing local support. The joint Friendly Technologies & I-Teco collaboration is expected to bring real value to OJSC VimpelCom.
