The Challenge

Carriers and xSPs are faced with the challenge of providing data, voice and video services to residential and business subscribers having sophisticated devices attached to their systems, such as modem/routers, IPTV/ STBs, ATA/VoIP, storage devices, media centers, Femtocell, IP-phones, cameras, etc. Residential users pay a small subscription fee to the Carrier/xSP and normally require the level of support usually provided by a system administrator, increasing the Carrier's/xSP's provisioning and support cost.
