Automatic Conversion of Existing CPEs to the TR-069 Standard
Friendly offers automatic migration to TR-069 of CPEs that do not have a TR-69-enabled firmware version installed. The addition of the TR-69-enabled firmware allows remote management and monitoring of the existing CPEs in a single unified management system. It adds cost-saving functionality including automated configuration and provisioning, integration with back-office applications (such as CRM), automated diagnostics and monitoring, maintenance of QoS level, and more.
Automatic Migration
Friendly's migration solution does not require complicated, manual installation of the new TR-069 firmware by the user, eliminates the costly process of distributing the firmware to users and prevents lengthy support calls to the help desk. The subscriber is simply redirected to an "upgrade site" and with a single click initiates the upgrade process. The application identifies the CPE, verifies that the CPE needs to be updated, and the application automatically updates the CPE's firmware and its TR-69 settings.
