Friendly announced a new release (version 4) of its TR69 device management platform.

The software is used by carriers and xSPs to manage devices such as routers, modems, IAD/RG, STB, ATA/VoIP devices, IP-phones and more.

Vladimir Litman, Device Management Product Manager, claims that "the new version is built for enhanced performance and built on the most advanced Java technologies."

The new version includes support for IPv6 and the new TR-069 standards: TR-069 Amendment 4 and TR-143 (enables network throughput performance testing and statistical data monitoring for QoS).
