The entire process takes only a few minutes and is fully customized and branded for the xSP. If any problems occur, during installation or at any other time, they will be solved instantly and automatically, with technology designed especially for non-technical users.

Sets Up the Home Network Automatically
Absolutely NO Know-How Required!

FriendlyHomeLAN™ automatically sets up every one of the 20+ parameters that generally require manual configuration when setting up a secured, wireless home network.

PCs and access devices are configured with one click. Deployment and configuration of 'Triple Play' devices is fully automatic, customized to xSP needs.

The software automatically detects NIC card and router, instructs the user how to connect the router, configures PC and router, sets up the network, and verifies Internet connectivity.

Within minutes, all PCs are connected to the Internet, and a local area network (LAN) is created, enabling sharing.

The software can also set up email and browsers, according to xSP requirements.

Configures VoIP Settings

FriendlyHomeLAN™ configures VoIP settings on devices, including Gateway, SIP Server, Proxy, and account information. Alternatively, the solution can do port forwarding to the ATA. If the user encounters a problem with VoIP, FriendlyHomeLAN™ can re-configure the device for voice service to ensure continuous service.

Secures the Network

To ensure that intruders are kept OUT, FriendlyHomeLAN automatically sets up security for the wireless home network, via WEP key or with MAC addresses.

Friendly's unique Universal Wireless Agent (WIN 98 and up) automatically sets up security for ALL wireless cards and monitors performance. The Agent communicates with and configures wireless cards, monitors signal strength, displays settings, and enables seamless desktop/laptop connection to the wireless network.

Printer sharing includes:

xSP’s need to be alerted, for billing purposes, as soon as a new user successfully connects to the Internet for the first time.

FriendlyHomeLAN™ automatically sends a record to the xSP's database regarding each new user's first successful connection to the Internet.
